And there were 3

I can't believe the last blog post I did was 2 years ago! How time flies! I was so occupied with work, being a mom to 2 toddlers and being a wife I hardly had time to blog!
As I was browsing through all my blog posts from the beginning (2009), I feel there a so many things and memories that I didn't get to put in this blog for the kids and me to look back and reminisce all the fun (and sad) times we had. I blame it all on Instagram.

Anyway, this will be my first post after 2 years of hiatus.
I have 3 kids now! Can you believe that? I'm a mother of 3!
Nothing brings more joy and happiness than having these 3 little people as my kids.
They may be handful but I love them nevertheless.
I will post my labor story later. It's a short one. Trust me.

The kids. My heart and soul

latest custom illustration done

There are so many things I wish to say yet time has never been kind to me. It's been 7 months since I posted an entry on this blog. The truth is, I am juggling between my fulltime job (9 to 6), motherhood to 2 adorable kids, part time designer for my other 'baby' Krafty Palette now tell me when do I find time to blog?

I love blogging. Looking back at all my posts, make me reminiscing all the memories I have shared with all of you readers. One thing I love about blogging is it's another platform for me to express my feelings and of course to keep it as a journal where I can look back and smile or cry just by reading them.

So as my new resolution (hope it's not too late!) I will try to have at least 4 posts in a month. Monday. Monday seems to be a good day to have new post right? What do you think?

Oh what do you think of the new look? Well I thought it's new year, why not a new look? Just to get the new year mood going :P

Finally my not-so-baby sister is married!

I know my post is no longer concur with events. But better late than never!
Anyway my baby sister, Nurul got married to her looooonnngggg time boyfriend, last September 21st. The solemnization was held at Masjid Sultan Mizan aka Masjid Besi, Putrajaya sometime after Asar. It was my 1st time at that mosque. It was huge and we got lost the moment we got there.

The preparation was held at Pullman Resort. The make up, fitting etc. I must admit it was a bit chaotic since everyone is not familiar with the place. Everyone was calling everyone asking where to meet, where's this place etc etc. But we managed to get to the mosque in time for the solemnization.

Did not managed to snap more photos because kids were not cooperating. Boleh ke menjerit nak kek and buah hantaran in the middle of akad nikah? -____-

Happy and proud parents to have another son in the family. Yer lah 5 girls. Tunggu lagi 2 sons.

l-r : your truly, bride, father of the bride, mom of the bride

Beaming!

The solemnization. Kenapa nampak macam my husband lagi nervous?

The happy bride to someone's wife.

The Dulang girls.

During the event.

The reception was held on the next evening at Dewan Seri Endon. Unfortunately I have no photos from that night event because I left my camera at the hotel! Great Ida!
So we have to wait for the official photographer for the photos.

To Nurul & Zhafran, congratulations again to both of you.
We are happy and thrilled to have you, Zhafran as part of our family.
Please take care of each other and may Allah blessed your marriage with great happiness and health until Jannah.

Wikki Stix : One of a kind creatables!

When I first received an email to review about this product, I must admit I have never heard of it before nor see it anywhere. From the brochure received, it looks pretty much like play-doh or any other clays. So what make it so different?

Wikki Stix is a an award winning wax yarn made in USA. It is safe to play for children as it is made of non-toxic and allergy free material. Wikki Stix has just made their first launched in Asia recently. Being a parent and having kids, I always look for safe, non-toxic product and of course, minimal mess!

Hariz was the one who was so excited when I first show him Wikki Stix. He took his chair, sat on it and ready to explore! Boy I've never seen him this enthusiastic!

He started off with the connect-the-dots game where he has to connect all the dots to form a shape. You can say he was trying so hard to make the shape!

Can you guess what is it? No? Not yet? ok hang on.

Wikki stix is so flexible. You can shape it any way you like it. You can even bend it and it will stay in good shape. The best thing I like about Wikki Stix, is it stick on paper or any other surface but no on hands! Although it is sticky, it never leave any residue! It's every mom's dream! They can roll in on the floor, step on it ah you name it!

But of course, Sara would like to get into the picture too. She's only 1 but she knows how to play. I too don't have to be worried because she like to put everything inside her mouth as this is non-toxic and safe!

You can tell Hariz is having so much fun creating stuff. I made him this glasses and he won't take it off!
The next Harry Porters perhaps?

Well that's the end product of his creations. It doesn't look like snow man at all but at least he made it himself! :)Wikki Stix stick on paper and any other surface. You can peel it off and stick them as many time as you like! There's no glue needed!

There are so many more interesting things you can do with Wikki Stix.

To conclude this little amazing product we had, I must say we can't get enough of 1 pack! We will get more so Hariz can play at his own creativity.

 Almost there!

{moms, don't let your kids do this at home!}
