Wonder no more, here's my explainations to everything! :)

I thought of making this entry as Wordless Wednesday since today is Wednesday but I have so many things to say. So no WW today :P

Anyway,  this is my current situation. I'm at 36 weeks and 4 more weeks until my delivery. But I have this some kind of fear that this baby would come out anytime soon. Hariz came out 2 weeks earlier than edd. There's no reason for this baby to came any later. Right?

I still am working and going to the office but no longer driving myself to the office. Kalau terberanak tengah jalan camnaa?? :P

Well anyway, we still haven't decide where to deliver this baby. But it has to be Alor Setar la. Tapi hospital mana tak tau lagi. Yeah I know, Hariz dulu berbulan-bulan plan bagai nak rak. Yang 2nd one ni, macam boleh pulak tunggu-tunggu. Kesian baby. huhuhu

Oh in case you're wondering, we'll be getting a girl. Insyallah :) I've already bought a few stuff for girls (ya know, pinky-pinky stuff. Florals. Cannot tahan lah. So cute! :P) some of them I don't think we even gonna be needing it :P

As for Hariz, he's getting bigger and wiser now.At 1 year and 7 months old, he can speak quite clearly. Which only his parents can understand :P But his still missing few molars at the bottom. Kinda hard for him to feed on solids like yang keras2.

 

People kept saying he's getting thinner now. Well I guess that comes with the age. Being so lasak and all. Makan dok sah kata laa.. Semua benda dia nampak semua nya "naak naakkk" "naakk naakkk".

He loves my big belly. He kept pointing at it and says, "baybeeee" and start kissing it. Aww.. I'm sure he will be a good big brother. :)

There are still things me and my hubby not sure of when we have the 2nd baby. Where Hariz should sleep, how's Hariz when I'm starting on my confinement, Will the baby keep Hariz awake if they were to sleep in the same room? Where should we send this baby when I've started working because Hariz's nursery is already full! Should Hariz still be sleeping in his play pen? and more how, where, questions that we haven't yet find the answers. But I guess, insyallah, everything will turn out fine eventually. It;s only a matter of time.

And to those who have been making orders for blog design, I'm sorry that I have to put it aside for awhile because of my condition. I've already emailed everyone regarding this and thank you for those who are willing to wait. I really really appreciate that  :)

Sorry for neglecting this blog for quite some time. Now you know why :)

Play hard, sleep hard!

We went to Queensbay last weekend to do some shopping and look for new mattress. We've been having back pain and trouble getting out of bed these days.( not sure if it's the sign of aging or it's the mattress. But we are pretty sure it's the mattress :P) We've been using Vono spring mattress for almost 2 years now. Tapi dah sakit-sakit badan. So we wanted to try Latex mattress.

Harvey Norman is having bed & mattress promotions and we bought Nepure king latex mattress + king size bed frame + 2 latex pillows for only RM2799. Not bad huh?

Then, we went to Toys R Us. Hariz  just started to walk and he was like running here and there and tarik semua barang. Huohh..Nasib baik takde yang fragile.

Dah penat main-main, it's almost time for his evening nap. Whenever we went out, he will never miss his nap time. Be it in the car or in his stroller. Pendek kata, mana-mana pon bolehH!!!! :P

His nap time is the best time for us! Boleh shopping sesuka hati!! Kan kan? :P

Saturday at Aeon Bandar Perda

We haven't been going out for quite sometimes since Ramadhan. So yesterday, we've decided to lunch out at the nearest mall, Aeon Bandar Perda.

I've been craving for Kenny Rogers's chicken. ughh.. Normally we would have our dinner when Hariz taking his afternoon nap.

Sampai je jusco, Hariz still wide awake. It's already half past 1pm and perot ku sudah berkeroncong. So maybe if we take him to play at the play area he would be tired and fast asleep.

So we thought...

Hariz sangat lah suka main kat sini. This is the 3rd time we took him here. It's free so play as long as we want and it's clean too!

Looks like the mommy was the one having a ball :P

It's really a good thing that the management would do such a place for babies and children to play. So parents could shop with ease :P

How to change your baby without waking them up?

Send the dad!! :P

I don't know wether he was too sleepy or he just couldn't care-less.

Hariz felt asleep even before I changed him into his PJs.It's only 8pm!

Being cranky like Hariz does, he can't even see me in front of him or he will scream and started to cling on to me and never want to let go.Memang tak boleh lintas langsung depan mata die.

So I asked WZ to change him just in case if he opens his eyes and seeing it's just his dad, he went back to sleep.

Tak sempat nak suap dinner pon. Poor baby. Letih kot main dengan kawan-kawan. Huhuhu..

Hariz turned 11 months old! {yesterday}

WZ : "tudiaa.. every month nak announce birthday dia jenoh laaa"
Me : " tak lerr.. until he turn 1 yr old lah. duhh! "

okay so Hariz turned 11 months old yesterday. What Hariz had achieved so far? Let's see! :

• he could mimic our face expression. Like in the photo above, I just stick out my tongue and he will do the same. Except his tongue is longer than mine. :P
• He could salam and cium tangan! Ni I think cikgu dier ajar kat nursery kot. Hehhee.. harus dapat banyak duit raya tahun nih :P
• He will clap his hands when we sing "tepuk amai-amai" and err.. how to say.. bukak tutup tangan dier like when we sing twinkle twinkle.
• He could sort of walk for 2-3 steps towards me and collapse. Takpe.. baby steps :)
• He likes to bite everything! I mean everything!!! Tangan? kaki? hidung?? You name it! His teeth are still 4 tho.
• Eats 3 times a day on schedule. Weigh 9.5kg (last time we weigh which is 3 weeks ago)

1 more month and he is 1!! Aww.. they grew up so fasttt... :(

I don't know whether I should throw his 1st birthday or not. Maybe small one with family member kot...

Spongebob and me, we've got 1 thing in common!

This photo was taken this morning right before I went to work. He has 2 front teeth now.Sama tak macam spongebob? hehehe...

But he's at home now. With me. Had an 'accident' at the nursery but nothing major. He's okay now. Fast asleep. This is the time when bumps and bruises occured. Poor baby. Luckily tomorrow is public holiday. Cuti panjang you. :) I'm going back to Alor Setar of course. Need to do some last minute shopping before raya.

Okay I'm so high with sugar now so bear with me.

I admit that I never seldom cook since before I was married. I had no urge to cook and no one to cook for. and when I was single, cooking to me, was such a waste. You see, I will spend half of my day cooking, few seconds eating and later the dishes! Why the hassle if I could just eat out right?

and when Wan 1st came to my house to ask my hand in marriage (cewahh), my mom awal-awal bagitau wan & his mom that I don't really know how to cook! lmao! malu okeh. heee.. but we're married now and I can cook!!!! not perfectly but good enough to savour wan's appetite :)

Yes I know they are all simple cooking and budak darjah 6 pon boleh masak. hehehe.. but I did it anyway :) Tak termasuk yang bakar-bakar lagi ooooo.. :P

On another note, Hariz, 10 months and 2 weeks , started teething sometime last 4 days. He's been crackier than before and the teeth actually 1 saje! mane satu lagi?? tak hensem la raya nanti gigi satu je :P

Speaking of raya, Hariz sudah ade baju raya! It's maroon. So I have to find something similar (what? belom ade baju raye?) yeah.. *sigh* kena beli yang ready made je. Nak tempah tak sempat dah. Huhuhuhu..

Hariz buah hati pengarang jantung ku (seriously, I don't really know what that means) :P

Little rascal

Hariz just reached 10 months old 5 days ago, weigh 9.5kg and just had his 1st previnar jab on Sunday. (this is a note to myself :))

Anyway, we bought him this pool of balls a few weeks ago. He was thrilled with the balls and can't get it out of his mouth. We tried to keep him IN the pool but he insist to just play outside. 

I would say he gets bored quickly with one toys and in the end, stick with remote control, hand phone, torchlight and pc mouse.

Bought this pool together with the pool at Tesco for RM29++ or was it RM30++?

Yup. This little fella can sit alright.

Went shopping and went back with nothing :P

Say you just received your pay check, been planning for a weekend to shop till you drop, went to the mall, and after 5 hours, you went back home with nothing? Can you believe it?? I don't!!

I've been planning for the trip to the mall (Queens Bay Mall) for a week now since I hardly had the chance to shop like I used to especially now we are residing in Seberang Jaya. 

So we went out at 12pm since finding parking space was not a hassle. Orang belum ramai kot.

I promised Wan for a lunch treat because *ehem...(one cannot say why here) :P say I had few extra cash lah :P Wan has been wanting to have that mouth-watering-burger (that's what I've been hearing for the past week), we headed to TGIF.

Hariz having his homemade lunch (oat with chicken+carrots+spinach+potatoes) while watching golf on ESPN. 

SALE is everywhere!! ALL shops, I mean ALL was having sale. and CROCS were sold as low as RM50!!! Too bad they were running out of my size *sigh. 

Went to Brands Outlet, looking for Hariz's shoes but no size for him too. I guess he inherit the bigfoot huh ? :P

and yes, I did circle the mall few times but nothing really interest me.

Actually there is one thing here I did experience when I was at the mall.

If you are a mommy, you may know what Baby Room is. A room where you get to nurse your baby, feed him, change diaper, wash bottles etc. It's one facilities provided by the management for our mommies ease. I love Jusco's baby room. Very neat and convenient. 

So I was in the Jusco's Baby room with Hariz, and there was another parent in the room feeding his baby and suddenly there's this mother and her toddler about 4-5 of age headed to the sink, which was normal scene right? So I wasn't really paying attention to them and went back to play with hariz on the changing station until she did something that is totally unacceptable!

I was so furious and I immediately voice out to her that her action was totally inappropriate!! It's unhygienic!!! Who knows the pee is still still on the sink and the next user place the baby bottles next to the sink??? Who knows???

Maybe I overreacted but please, be considerate and set a good example to your kids ya mommies? Maybe the parent did that before and so unlucky of her to do that when I was around.

Anyways,besides that 'incident' ,Saturday was pretty hectic for us. Later that night, we headed to Kulim for a house-warming party of Wan's friend.

Hariz loves being around people. He was very well behaved throughout the night.

 I just realized when editing this photo that the baby is staring at me in bewilderment :P

Looking forward for another weekend so I could spend time with my precious Hariz.. and Wan of course :)

A day at the pool

Just so you know that I'm still alive and kicking :P

Sorry for the long silence. Workload is just.. a lot. 

Anyway, last weekend , we went back to alor setar , our precious hometown. fyi, both me and wan are from as but we met in Penang :P So we decided to take Hariz for a dip in the pool for the 1st time. Well, give the float a go. We bought it during our last trip to Langkawi which was decades ago and now we got the chance, well I mean, Hariz got the chance to use it.

Luckily my sis's place got a pool so we don't have to go to the public ones where all the pools were no-so-clean. 

Hariz as usual loves being in the water. He kept splashing the water here and there.

Ummm... nyummm... the water is goodddd...slurrpppp!

This is my niece. She's afraid of Hariz. So get ready with her pump gun if he gets closer.

and later, we requested my mom to cook grilled prawn. *drool

The best thing about being the later baby in the family, you get tonnes of toys!! for free!!! :P

Heat rash on a baby

Hariz is the kind of baby that sweats a lot, I mean really a lot. He sweats every time I nurse him. He sweats when the weather gets a bit warm and he sweats when he is asleep. The sweats on him didn't really bothers me that much. He just get wet so much and we just change his cloth often and so I thought.

Not until yesterday, well it was actually few days ago, that we discover small red bumps on his chest, back and arms.

Heat rash happens when the body heated and the skin pores got blocked out because of the sweats and small pores. Heat rash is not serious but it shows that the body is too warm. Usually it is not painful and maybe a bit itchy. As for Hariz, he didn't had any pain or itchiness. I was a bit worried when I saw all the reds dots on his body (who doesn't?).

So before he went to bed, I just wiped him off with lukewarm water.

and this morning when I woke up, to my surprise, all the red bumps are gone!!

I think my mistake the night before was I applied him a balm on the rashes and it went bad the day after. So what I did last night, I didn't put anything on the rash (oil, ointment, powder etc). Really saves our trip to the doc :P

However, if the rashes came with a fever, never hesitate to straight away to see your doc. It could be something else other than rashes.

Today, July 7th is the public holiday for Penang to celebrate the Heritage Day. Wee... ! lucky me for being Penangnites! 

How do we celebrate our heritage day? by going to the mall! :P We didn't go far pon. Just Jusco Bandar Perda. Okla kan? Macam malas nak masuk pulau. Mesti traffic jem nyer..

Anyway, while at the mall, Wan was like, 'hey.. let's buy a new car?' and I was like 'okay!'.

Initially we bought it for Hariz. Konon dia ada la something new to play with. Ending up abah dier yang main.

Hariz was kinda scared of the car at 1st. He couldn't careless. Siap tolak-tolak lagi.

Finally dapat jugak la play with the car before it ran out of battery :P

Happy 9 Month Hariz!

Hariz is 9 month old! Yeay! You're a big baby boy now. You can crawl and lift up your body but still no sigh of teeth. Perhaps soon?

Fever on 8 months old baby

Hariz has been down with fever since Monday. This will be the longest fever he had since he was born. It was so heart wrenching to see him ill and not as playful like he used to be when we was healthy.

It started on last Sunday evening when suddenly, I felt hot on his cheeks and I knew that it's fever. I tried to breastfeed him and put dabbed him with wet towel but the temperature didn't seem to subside. So we gave him paracetamol as prescribed by the doctor. Luckily Hariz is not so hard to give a medicine to. He will just, take it like eating a candy. Few hours later, he started to sweat and get better.

I was contemplated to go to work on Monday but he seems fine and didn't show signs that fever will arise again.

Called the nursery from work at around 3.30pm but he seems okay. So I was a bit relief.

But when I reached him after work, he was down with fever. His body was hot and his lips are all red.He seems unhappy and showed no expressions. I got home and quickly breastfeed him and dabbed him with wet towel again. Temperature showed 39.1 Deg! gave him the medicine again and within minutes, he gets better again.

I took a day off the next day because I know he is still not 100% well eventhough he was climbing here and there.

On Wednesday, I had to go to work and Hariz was okay but not completely well. For the 1st time, Hariz cried when I sent him to the nursery. It was heart breaking and I cried on my way to work. Sedih tau. :(

I took another day off today. If he shows no signs of fever today, he should be okay tomorrow and I need to go to work tomorrow.

The first time Hariz was given medications back when he was 3 months old, we have been struggling with the syringe because of the narrow end and afraid it may hurt his gums. So I went to Toys R' Us and found this 3 piece medication kit from Safety 1st. It's just like any other syringe but with removable caps/spout which really gentle on his gum. and I think he kinda like the spout because he kept sucking it eventhough the syrup is gone. Maybe mommies out there who's been having trouble giving medications to their babies could try this?

I think this is the new version of the kit from Safety 1st but the all meant for the same reason.
