Not a fan but watched it anyway. and the result?

So last weekend we were in our hometown, Alor Setar. Attending a wedding (which I will blog about it later) and to fulfill my crave for crab :P ( My mom said she has to berebut ketam dengan this lady at pasar because there were not much left. hehehe) and of course my mom got 12s and that lady 4 :P

Anyway, since we were at my parent's, we decided to go for a 'date' on that Saturday night. We seldom do this these days. I mean just the 2 of us. Leaving Hariz with my mom and my sisters to play with, we thought why not? But no fancy dinner watsoever (blame it on the stuffed crab we had earlier :P), we decided to watch a movie instead.

Mind you  there's not much of entertainment here in Alor Setar but they had this one good cinema called Big Cinema. and it's just a few minutes away from my home. We left home at 8.30pm to catch the 9.00pm movie. Hariz should've been sleeping by then. (he usually sleeps at 9pm - 9.30pm. nothing later than that).

Unfortunately there were only 2 movies shown that night. This Narnia and Repunzel ( I swear I should've watch Repunzel!!! *regrets*)

Anyway, the movie lasts for 2 hours (yeah that long). I would say .. err.. well.. really I'm not much of a Narnia fan. I would say Harry Potter's is much much better. My level of excitements from the beginning till the end of the movie was 1 out of 10. yeah that flat. Maybe the talking animals and kanak-kanak is too much for my *ahem* adulthood :P

So we got home at around 11pm thinking Hariz would be fast asleep by then. HA HA. I was wrong! He was happily running around with no signs of going to bed! My mom said he had 2 bottles of milk and 3 pcs of bahulu! Giler hyper dah!

And I had a tough time to put him to bed. I had to force him to sleep and I think in the end, he gave up somewhere around 12am. Haih. 

So the bottom line is, Narnia sucks! Big time! hahahaha (Narnia fans please don't be mad. This is just my personal opinion. Huhuhuu :P )

My first watched movie in 3D! - Toy Story 3

I hardly get to watched movies nowadays since Hariz was born. I used to be a movie buff when I was single & not married (yet) :P

Anyway, I got the chance yesterday and since I've never watched a movie in 3D, we picked Toy Story 3 in Gurney Plaza.

Takde orang pon at that time. Lengang je. Best gilerrrr . Or is it because this movie has been here since forever? :P

Muka orang jakun dah lama tak tengok movie :P

The movie started at 1450hrs so we had some time for lunch and window shop :P I picked Mr. Teppanyaki. Actually I just had Mr. T last Friday but who cares? The black pepper beef is so hard to resist!

oh.. that's me. I look like a zombie don't I ? I don't know why but I hardly put on any make up. Well only when I feels like to. Itu pon eye liner and a bit of a blusher here and there. Why? too lazy to take them off later I guess :P

That's my significant other, purchasing a hot roll, when he is going to have the black pepper beef later. Nak cuba kata nyerr... hmmmmm

Oh.. I should've put photo of the food but we were too hungry and tempted so.., sorry! :P

What do I think of the movie? 

I love it!!!! I always love Toy Story. Who doesn't? The jokes crack me up!  but I kinda get a bit emotional throughout the end. Isk. I was breathing so hard not to cry :P Why? Well you gotta watch it for yourself!!! I'm not going to burst the bubble here. Sheeisshh..

I'm not a fan of war movies tho. I'd prefer romantic comedy :)

Whoopsidaisies!

hahahahahaa....(jap nak ketawa dulu :P).. 

ok..last night I watched this old sweet & romantic & funny movie Notting Hill on HBO. I always love this movie because of Hugh Grant. We was soooo cute and adorable. Tapi sekarang dah tua tak berapa fancy sangat dah :P

Anyways, there was this scene where he and Julia Roberts about to climb over the fence to the garden, and he melatah (what's melatah in english eh?) soooo funny and cute!!!! Here's the dialogue for that scene.. (still laughing)

William: Whoopsidaisies!
Anna Scott: What did you say?
William: Nothing.
Anna Scott: Yes you did.
William: No I didn't.
Anna Scott: You said "whoopsidaisies".
William: I don't think so. No one says "whoopsidaisies" do they? Unless they're...
Anna Scott: There *is* no "unless." No one has said "whoopsidaisies" for fifty years and even then it was only little girls with blonde ringlets.
William: Exactly. Here we go again.
[He falls off the fence again]
William: Whoopsidaisies. It's a disease I've got. It's a clinical thing. I'm taking pills and having injections. It won't last long. 

I could watch this over and over and over! Sampai nak hafal la the dialogue :P

My days as a movie buff are over ( for now )

Everybody is talking about this movie Alice in Wonderland. Tapi I takde la berminat sangat nak pegi tengok sebab diriku sendiri tak boleh pegi tengok. This movie also available in 3D. Must be more exciting watching this with the 3D goggle because of the colours, the weird creatures.

So I received a call from my sis asking me to purchase tickets for this Saturday show. I became member of GSC online because of the convenience to buy/book ticket online rather than had to wait in a long queue. As I logged in to the e-payment and to my surprise, it's almost full house on Saturday at 1.40pm! It's in 3D by the way. Tinggal. few rows at the front je. 

But I managed to beli jugak 8 tickets (for the sake of my niece yang teringin sangat nak tengok :P) kesian. Kang kempunan pulak nak tengok Alice in Wonderland.

Anyone have watched Alice in Wonderland in 3D? Best ke?Macam terkeluar-terkeluar tak charaters tu? :P

Movie maniac

I think I'm exaggerate it a bit on the title but I do love watching movies (in the cinema yer. not dvd). Every time there is a new release I will not get left behind to watch it.

I remember my first movie/cinema experience was back in Alor Setar. There was this cinema call Cathay. The movie showed there was quite updated and I usually watch it with my schoolmate and my family. Despite of lacking of cleanliness ( sometimes you can feel the rats running across your feet), we still enjoy watching the movie there.

The first movie I watched was The Pagemaster. Tapi sampai sekarang I haven't found the DVD of the movie. Best ookey cerita tu. It was almost 16 years ago. But the cinema has turned into restaurant.

and there was another cinema other than Cathay called Rex. That's where I watched The Jurassic Park for the first time :P

Now, after giving birth to Hariz, I can no longer go out and watch movies at the cinema. There are so many good movies I have missed. Terpaksa wait for DVD to come out to watch them. Maybe once Hariz is a bit older we could tag Hariz along ;)
